1. SELCT YOUR RESERVATION TYPE: Choose the type of reservation that suits your needs. We offer various options, including Existing Reservations, which allow you to purchase a reservation from a member and potentially enjoy price reductions. 2. SUBMIT YOUR OFFER: If you find an existing reservation that meets your requirements, submit your offer. The member will respond to your offer within 24 hours, ensuring a rapid and successful negotiation process.
3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We keep you informed at every stage, ensuring you stay updated and can make informed decisions based on the member’s response.
4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: Once both parties reach an agreement on the terms, we provide clear instructions for you to view and electronically sign your agreement. How members can use it
For members of the DVC Rental Club, there are three ways to convert your unused points into cash. Here’s how it works:
Renting out reservation
If you have a reservation that you won’t be able to use and there’s still time to cancel without penalties, you can choose to rent it out to another family. Simply go to your profile page, select the option to create a new listing, and choose “Existing Reservation” as the listing type. Your offer will be displayed on our Listings page for potential renters to make an offer.
Wait for a renter to make you an offer
Once you receive an offer, we will notify you via email. You have a limited amount of time to respond with one of three options:

Decline the offer to end the process
View out and sign agreement
If you accept the conditions, you will receive instructions on how to view and electronically sign your contract. Please note that the DVC Rental Club will receive the renter’s payment.
Disbursement of funds
On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to you, the member.
Custom request
On our Listings page, you can see requests from families looking to make travel arrangements. If you have the proper Home Resort ownership and find an appropriate request, you can accept it and plan the trip for the family.
Respond to the renters
Within the stipulated hour, reply to the renter and inform them if you were able to fulfill their request or offer an acceptable reservation, along with the price per point you are willing to accept. Alternatively, you can let the timer run out if you couldn’t make a reservation or offer.
View and sign agreement
If you agree to the terms, you will receive instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. The renter will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.
Disbursement of funds
On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to you, the member.
Transfer points
The third option is to transfer some or all of your current use-year points to another member. To do this, go to your profile page, click on “Create a listing,” and select the option to transfer points. Specify the number of points you are willing to transfer, and interested members can submit their offers.
Respond to offers
When you receive an offer, we will email you. You can choose to accept the offer, counter with a different price, or decline the offer to end the process.
View and sign your agreement
If you reach an agreement on the terms, you will be provided with instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. The receiving member will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.
Transfer of points
Once confirmation of funds received is obtained, the points will be transferred accordingly.
Disbursement of funds
On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to you, the member.

Real-time Notifications: We will securely save your sensitive information, including resort announcements, restaurant bookings, and spa appointments, and we’ll keep you updated via real-time alerts.
Funds Held Until Check-In Day: According to their reservation policy, money will be kept aside until the day of check-in to cover any fees or other expenses that could occur during the guest’s stay. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of lodging, the quantity of cash stored may change.
