What is the process works for renters

1. SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO MAKE: Select from our options, including Existing Reservations that allow you to buy a room from a member and take advantage of price reductions.

2. SUBMIT YOUR OFFER: If you find an existing booking that is suitable for your requirements, send your proposal, and the member will respond within 24hrs. Be prepared for a fast and effective negotiation!

3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you up to date throughout the process when the member responds by making sure you’re aware and make educated decisions.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: When both parties have agreed on the terms, you’ll receive detailed instructions to read and e-sign your agreement. It’s a simple, secure procedure that puts the first step towards your dream holiday.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After you’ve signed your agreement electronically after which you’ll be redirected onto the pay page. Choose the method of payment you prefer and make your payment ease. It’s your time to dream about vacation now officially reserved!

6. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: On check-in day on the day of check-in, we handle giving the money to the guest. This is a smooth transition which ensures that each party is protected throughout the rental process.

What it does for members

We’ve got three options to make your points you don’t use into cash

View and sign your agreement

Rent your current Reservation to another family. If you’ve got time to cancel without penalty it could be a good option. When you are on your personal page, click Create a new listing, choose Existing Reservation. Your listing will appear on our Listings page to allow potential tenants to make an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will notify you by email if you’ve been offered a deal. You have a certain amount of time to reply with one of three choices:

I accept this offer.
Make a counter offer with a different price.
Accepting or Declining the Offer. This is going to conclude the procedure.

Check out and sign your agreement

Should you agree on the terms, you will receive instructions to review and electronically sign your agreement. The renter must pay the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll transfer the funds to the member.

Custom request

The most requested option is to claim a Custom-Request. Check out our Listings page to submit a request from families and plan their trip. Make sure if the reservation is more than 7 months away and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Make contact with the renter before the allotted time expires (1 1 hour). Inform them if you were able to complete their request, or with what you’re able book, as well as the dollar amount per point you’re willing to accept.
If you could not book a reservation or provide a suitable reservations, you can communicate that to the renter or allow the timer to expire on the claim.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you decide to accept the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and e-sign your agreement. Be aware that the renter must pay the DVC Rental Club.

This disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

An easy option is to transfer a portion, or the entire amount of point of use to another member.

On your profile page the option to create a listing. Select transfer points. Select the number of points you’d like to transfer. Members who are interested will submit offers.

Respond to Your Offer

We will send you an email once we have received an offer. There are three options available to you:

Accept the offer.
Opt-out of the deal with a different price.
Rejecting the Offer conclude the process.

Review and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, then you’ll be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. The member who is receiving the payment is required to pay the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

Once funds are received, points will be transferred.

Disbursement of funds

On the day when check-in is completed, we give the funds to the member.
