How the process is used for renters

1: CHOOSE THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO CREATE

Select from our choices, including existing Reservations that allow you to purchase a booking from an existing member and benefit from potential price reductions.

2: SUBMIT THE OFFERS YOU ARE POSTING

If you spot an existing booking that is suitable for your needs, submit your request, and the participant will contact you within 24 hours. Prepare yourself for a quick and effective negotiation process!

3: WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND

We’ll keep you updated every step of the way as the member replies to your questions, so you’re informed and are able to make informed choices.

4: VIEW AND AGREE TO YOUR AGREEMENT

When both parties have reached agreement on the terms, you’ll get clear instructions to view and e-sign your contract. It’s an easy and secure process that gets an extra step toward your magical vacation.

5: MAKE YOUR PAYMENT

After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll be directed to the payment page. Select the method of payment you prefer and submit your payment with ease. You can book your dream holiday fully booked!

6: DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS

On the day of check-in On check-in day, we manage paying the renter. This seamless process guarantees both parties are safe during the rental process.

How it does for members

We’ve got three options to transform your unused points into money:

Review and sign your agreement

Rent your Existing Reservation to a different family. If you’re in a position to end your reservation without penalty, this could be a good option. On your profile page, select the option to create a new listing and then select Existing Reservation. Your listing will be displayed on our Listings page for prospective renters to make you an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will email when you receive an offer. You have a limited amount of time to choose one of three options:

Take the deal.
Opt-out of the deal with a different price.
Rejecting the Offer will close the process.

View and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will receive instructions to view and e-sign your agreement. Be aware that the renter will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of Funds

On the day when check-in is completed, we give the funds to the member.

Custom request

Our most popular option is to make a Custom Request. Visit our Listings page and submit a request from an entire family and then book their vacation. Check if the reservation is more than 7 months from the date, you own the correct Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Respond to the renter before the allotted time runs out (1 one hour). Contact them if you are capable of fulfilling their request, or give them what you can book and the amount of dollars per point you’re willing to pay.

If you could not book a reservation, or to make a suitable reservations then you can either communicate that to the renter, or let the timer expire the claim.

Check out and sign your agreement

Should you agree on the terms, you will be provided with the instructions to read and e-sign the agreement. Note, the renter will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll give the funds to the member.

Transfer points

A simple option is to transfer a portion or all of your current point of use to another member.

On your profile page to create a listing, then select transfer points. Select the number of points you would like to transfer out. Interested members will submit proposals.

Respond to Your Offer

We will send you an email once you have been offered a deal. There are three options available to you:

Accept the offer.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Accepting or Rejecting Offers: This is going to close the process.

Review out and sign your agreement

Should you agree on the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement is required to pay the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

After confirmation of the funds received the points are transferred.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll release the funds to the member.

Funds Held Until Check-In Day: As part of their reservation policy, funds will be held until the check-in day to cover any incidental charges or fees that may arise during the guest’s stay. The amount of funds held may vary based on the length of stay and room type.

Guests can indulge in a variety of amenities and activities, including stunning ocean views, multiple pools, and thrilling water slides.
