1: SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO MAKE

Select one of our available options, including Existing Reservations in which you can purchase a reservation from a member and enjoy potential price reductions.

2. SUBMIT YOUR OFFER

If you can find an existing reservation that meets your requirements, send your request, and the participant will reply within 24 hours. Prepare for a speedy and efficient negotiation!

3: WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND

We’ll update you throughout the process as the participant responds to your questions, so you’re informed and are able to make educated choices.

4: VIEW AND AGREE TO YOUR AGREEMENT

When both parties have reached agreement on the terms, you’ll receive detailed instructions to read and e-sign the agreement. It’s a simple, secure process that gets your one step closer your magical holiday.

5: MAKE YOUR PAYMENT

After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll then be taken onto the pay page. Select the method of payment you prefer and pay with ease. Your dream vacation is officially reserved!

6: DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS

On the day of check-in, we take care of releasing the funds to the renter. It’s a seamless transition that makes sure that both parties are secured during the rental process.

How It Works For Members

We have three ways to convert your points that are not being used into money:

Review and sign your agreement

Lease your current Reservation to another family. If you’re in a position to end your reservation without penalty it could be a great alternative. When you are on your personal page click create a new listing, select an existing reservation. Your listing will populate our Listings page to allow potential tenants to submit an offer.

Wait For A Renter To Make You An Offer

We will send you an email once you have been offered a deal. There is a time limit of time to respond with one of three options:

You must accept the invitation.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Rejecting the Offer will conclude the procedure.

Review and Sign your Agreement

If you decide to accept the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the renter will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of Funds

On check-in day we will give the funds to the member.

CUSTOM REQUEST

Our most sought-after option is to claim a Custom Request. Go to our Listings page to make a claim on a request submitted by an entire family and then reserve their vacation. Be sure that if the booking is more than 7 years away that you have the correct Home Resort.

Respond to The Renter

Make contact with the renter before the time period runs out (1 hour). Communicate if you were capable of fulfilling the renter’s request, or include the amount you are able to book and the price per point you are willing to accept.

If you weren’t able to book a reservation, or to make a suitable reservations or a suitable reservation, you may communicate this to the renter or let the timer expire to end the claim.

Check out and sign your Agreement

Should you agree on the terms, you’ll be provided with the instructions to read and e-sign the agreement. It is important to note that the renter must make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On check-in day we will pay the member the money.

TRANSFER POINTS

An easy solution is to transfer a portion (or all) of your current use-year points to a different member.

You have the option to create a listing on your profile page. Select transfer points. Enter the number of points you are willing to transfer. Members who are interested will submit requests.

Respond To Your Offer

We will email when you have received an offer. There are three options available to you:

You must accept the invitation.
Make a counter offer with an alternative price.
Accepting or Rejecting Offers: This is going to stop that process.

Review and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and electronically sign the agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of Points

Upon confirmation funds received the points are transferred.

Payment of Funds

On the day of check-in we’ll give the funds to the member.

Funds Held Until Check-In Day: As per the reservation policy, funds will be held until the check-in day to cover any incidental charges or fees that may arise during the guest’s stay. The amount of funds held may vary based on the length of stay and room type.
