What is the Process Functions for Renters

1: SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO MAKE

Select one of our available options, including Existing Reservations, where you can purchase a reservation through an existing member and benefit from potential price reductions.

2: SUBMIT THE OFFERS YOU ARE POSTING

If you spot an existing booking that is suitable for your requirements, make a proposal, and the member will reply within 24hrs. Be prepared for a fast and efficient negotiation process!

3: LET IT GO FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND

We’ll update you every step of the way as the participant responds making sure you are informed and make educated decisions.

4: VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT

Once both parties have agreed on the terms, you’ll be given clear instructions to view and e-sign your agreement. It’s a simple and secure process that gets an extra step toward that dream holiday.

5: MAKE YOUR PAYMENT

Once you’ve e-signed your agreement, you’ll be redirected into the checkout page. Select the payment method you prefer and then submit your payment with ease. The dream trip you’ve always wanted is legally reserved!

6: DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS

On the day of check-in on the day of check-in, we handle release of the funds to the tenant. This seamless process assures that both parties are secure throughout the rental process.

How it Works for Members

There are three ways you can make your points you don’t use into cash:

View and sign your contract

Rent your current Reservation to a different family. If you have time to end your reservation without penalty it could be a great option. When you are on your personal page, click “Make a new listing”. Then choose “Existing Reservation”. Your listing will be added to our Listings page, allowing potential renters to make you an offer.

Wait For A Renter To Make You An Offer

We will notify you by email when we receive an offer. You have a limited amount of time to answer with three choices:

- I accept this offer.
- Opt-out of the deal with an alternative price.
- Rejecting the Offer will close the procedure.

Check out and Sign your Agreement

If you accept the terms, you will be given instructions on how to read and e-sign the agreement. The renter must submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Distribution of Funds

On check-in day we will give the funds to the member.

CUSTOM REQUEST

Our most popular option is to claim a Custom-Request. Check out our Listings page to submit a request from an entire family and then make a reservation for their trip. Make sure if the reservation is more than 7 months from the date that you have the correct Home Resort.

Respond to the Renter

Answer the renter’s request before the time period ends (1 hour). Contact them if you are capable of completing their request, or give them what you’re able to reserve as well as the dollar amount per point you are willing to take.

If you could not make a reservation or offer suitable reservations then you can either communicate that to the renter, or let the timer expire the claim.

Review and Sign your Agreement

Should you agree on the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and e-sign the agreement. Be aware that the renter will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Distribution of Funds

On check-in day we will release the funds to the member.

TRANSFER POINTS

An easy solution is to transfer some or even all your use-year points to a different member.

The profile of your page, click the option to create a listing. Select transfer points. Select the number of points you would like to transfer. Members who are interested will submit offers.

Respond to Your Offer

We will send you an email once you have received an offer. Your options:

Accept the offer.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Rejecting the Offer conclude the procedure.

Read and sign your contract

If you accept the terms of your agreement, you will receive instructions to review and e-sign your agreement. It is important to note that the person who receives the money will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of Points

When funds are confirmed after that funds will be transferred.

The Disbursement of Funds

On the day of check-in we’ll give the funds to the member.
