How The Process Is Used For Renters

1: CHOOSE THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO CREATE

Select one of our available choices, including existing Reservations, where you can purchase a reservation through members and take advantage of price reductions.

2: SUBMIT OUR OFFERS

If you find an existing reservation that fits your requirements, send your proposal and the owner will respond within 24 hours. Prepare for a speedy and efficient negotiation!

3: WAIT FOR THE MEMEBERS TO REPLY

We’ll keep you up to date every step of the way as the participant responds making sure you are informed and can make informed decisions.

4: VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT

When both parties have reached agreement on the terms of the agreement, you’ll receive detailed instructions to read and e-sign your agreement. It’s a simple, secure procedure that puts you one step closer to your dream vacation.

5: MAKE YOUR PAYMENT

After you’ve signed the agreement electronically, you’ll then be taken to the payment page. Select your preferred payment method and make your payment ease. The dream trip you’ve always wanted is now officially reserved!

6: DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS

On the day of check-in on the day of check-in, we handle giving the money to the tenant. This seamless process guarantees both parties are safe during the rental process.

What It Does For Members

We’ve got three options to turn your unused points into cash:

Review and sign your agreement

Rent your current Reservation to another family. If you have time to cancel your reservation with no penalty, this may be a good alternative. On your profile page, select create a new listing, select Existing Reservation. Your listing will populate our Listings page for potential renters to make you an offer.

Wait For A Renter To Make You An Offer

We will contact you when you receive an offer. You have a certain amount of time to respond with one of three options:

Take the deal.
Opt-out of the deal with an alternative price.
Accepting or Declining the Offer. This is going to stop the procedure.

View and Sign your Agreement

If you accept the terms, you will receive instructions to view and e-sign the agreement. Be aware that the renter will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Payment of Funds

On check-in day we will give the funds to the member.

CUSTOM REQUEST

The most requested option is to claim a Custom Request. Visit our Listings page to claim a request by a family and reserve their vacation. Be sure that if the booking is longer than 7 months away, you own the correct Home Resort.

Respond to The Renter

Contact the renter prior to the time allotted to them ends (1 one hour). Communicate if you were capable of completing the renter’s request, or include what you’re able to reserve and the price per point you are willing to pay.

If you weren’t able to reserve a room or make a valid reservation, you can communicate that to the renter, or let the timer expire the claim.

View and Sign your Agreement

If you accept the terms, you will be provided with instructions on how to review and electronically sign your agreement. The renter must make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On check-in day we will pay the member the money.

TRANSFER POINTS

A simple option is to transfer part or even all your current usage year points to another member.

The profile of your page to create a listing, then select transfer points. Enter the number of points you’d like to transfer out. The members who are interested can submit suggestions.

Respond to Your Offer

We will email when you have received an offer. There are three options available to you:

Accept the offer.
Counter the offer with another price.
Declining The Offer conclude the procedure.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms, then you’ll receive instructions to review and electronically sign your agreement. It is important to note that the person who receives the money will make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of Points

After confirmation of the funds received after which points are transferred.

Disbursement of Funds

On the day of check-in we’ll release the funds to the member.

Funds Held Until Check-In Day: As per the reservation policy, funds will be held until the check-in day to cover any incidental charges or fees that may arise during the guest’s stay. The amount of funds held may vary based on the length of stay and room type.
