3. LET THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you informed each step of the way when the member responds, so you are in the loop and are able to make informed decisions.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: When both parties have agreed on the terms, you’ll be given explicit instructions on how to review and electronically sign the agreement. It’s a straightforward and secure process that takes the first step towards that dream holiday.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll be directed on the page for payment. Choose the method of payment you prefer and then submit your payment with ease. The dream trip you’ve always wanted is legally reserved!

What it does for members

There are three ways to convert points you don’t use into cash

Review and sign your agreement

Rent your current Reservation to a different family. If you are able to end your reservation without penalty it could be a viable alternative. In your account page click the option to create a new listing and then select an existing reservation. Your listing will appear on our Listings page to allow potential renters who will make an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will notify you by email if you’ve received an offer. You will have a short period of time to answer to the offer using one of three options:

You must accept the invitation.
You can counter the offer by offering another price.
Declining The Offer close that process.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. The renter must pay DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll pay the member the money.

Custom request

The most requested option is to make a Custom Request. Go to our Listings page to submit a request from the family member and make a reservation for their trip. Be sure that if the booking is more than 7 months from the date and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Contact the renter prior to the time limit ends (1 1 hour). Let them know whether you were able to fulfill the renter’s request, or give them what you’re able to reserve and the amount of dollars per point you’re willing to pay.
If you weren’t able to make a reservation or make the reservation or a suitable reservation, you may communicate this to the renter, or allow the timer to expire on the claim.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and electronically sign your agreement. The renter must pay DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

One alternative is to transfer a portion or even all your points of use to a different member.

In your account page click the option to create a listing. Select transfer points. Select the number of points you’d like to transfer. Members who are interested will send proposals.

Respond to your offer

We will notify you when we have been offered a deal. The options are:

Take the deal.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Rejecting the Offer close this process.

Check out and sign your contract

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and electronically sign your agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement will make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

Once funds are received the point will then be transferred.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll transfer the funds to the member.

Money Reserved Until Check-In Date: As part of their reservation policy, money will be kept in a separate account until the day of check-in to pay any costs or incidentals the visitor may incur while staying there. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of lodging, different amounts of money may be retained.
