2. SUBMIT A QUOTE: If you spot an already-booked reservation matches your needs, make a request and the participant will reply in 24 hours. Prepare yourself for a quick and effective negotiation!

3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you informed each step of the way as the participant responds, so you are well-informed and make educated decisions.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: After both parties have reached an agreement on the terms of the agreement, you’ll receive explicit instructions on how to review and electronically sign your agreement. It’s an easy and secure procedure that takes your one step closer a dream holiday.

5. FINANCE YOUR PAYMENT: After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll be taken onto the pay page. Select the payment method you prefer and then submit your payment with ease. You can book your dream holiday legally reserved!

How it work for members

We’ve got three options to convert your points into cash

Review and sign your contract

Rent your current Reservation to a different family. If you are able to end your reservation without penalty, this could be a viable alternative. In your account page choose to the option to create a new listing and then choose Existing Reservation. Your listing will be added to our Listings page to allow prospective renters to submit an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will contact you when you receive an offer. You will be given a certain time frame to respond to the offer using one of three options:

You must accept the invitation.
Opt-out of the deal with another price.
Rejecting the Offer will conclude this process.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will be provided with instructions on how to review and electronically sign your agreement. Be aware that the renter must make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll pay the member the money.

Custom request

The most requested option is to make a Custom Request. Check out our Listings page to make a claim on a request submitted by the family member and reserve their vacation. Check if the reservation is longer than 7 months away and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Contact the renter prior to the allotted time runs out (1 one hour). Inform them whether you were able to meet their request, or give them the number of points you’re able to reserve as well as the dollar amount per point you’re willing to pay.
If you weren’t able to reserve a room or make a reservation that is suitable then you can either communicate that to the renter, or let the timer expire to end the claim.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. The renter must pay DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

One alternative is to transfer a portion (or all) of your usage year points to a different member.

In your account page choose to create a listing, and then select transfer points. Fill in the amount of points you would like to transfer. The members who are interested can make proposals.

Respond to your offer

We will contact you once we have been offered a deal. You have a choice:

Take the deal.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Declining the Offer close that process.

Check out and sign your contract

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will receive instructions to review and electronically sign your agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement will make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

After confirmation of the funds received the points are transferred.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll pay the member the money.

Money Reserved Until Check-In Date: As part of their reservation policy, money will be kept in a separate account until the day of check-in to pay any costs or incidentals the visitor may incur while staying there. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of lodging, different amounts of money may be retained.
