4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: Once both parties agree on the terms, you will receive clear instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. Operating process for members

As a member, you have the opportunity to convert your unused points into cash through three different methods. Here’s how it works:

View and sign your agreement

If you have a reservation that you’re unable to use and there’s still time to cancel without penalties, you can consider renting it out to another family. Simply go to your profile page, create a new listing, and select “Existing Reservation” as the listing type. Your offer will be displayed on our Listings page for potential renters to make an offer.

Wait for an offer to make an renter

Once your listing is live, we will notify you via email when you receive an offer. You’ll have a limited amount of time to respond with one of three options: accept the offer, counter the offer with a different price, or decline the offer, ending the process.

View and sign your agreement

If you accept the conditions, you’ll receive instructions on how to view and electronically sign your contract. It’s important to note that the renter’s payment will be received by the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to you as a member.

Additionally, we provide the option to fulfil customer requests. These requests can be seen on our Listings page, where families express their travel preferences. If you have the appropriate Home Resort ownership and find a suitable request, you can accept it and proceed to plan the trip for the requesting family.

Handling customers request

Here’s a breakdown of how the process works for fulfilling customer requests.

Respond to the renters

When you receive a request from a renter, you have a specified time frame of 1 hour to respond. During this time, you’ll inform the renter if you can fulfil their request or provide alternative booking options. Additionally, you’ll specify the price per point you are willing to accept. If you are unable to make a reservation or offer an acceptable option, you can let the timer run out on the claim.

View and sign your agreement

If you and the renter reach an agreement, you’ll receive instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. It’s important to note that the renter will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club as part of the process.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to you as a member, completing the transaction.

At the DVC Rental Club, we prioritize making the rental process as seamless as possible for our members.

Transfer points

One convenient option is to transfer some or all of your current use-year points to another member. To initiate the transfer, go to your profile page and click on “Create a listing.” Then, select the “Transfer Points” option and specify the number of points you are willing to transfer. Interested members can then submit their offers on your listing.

Respond to your offer

When you receive an offer, we will notify you via email. You have three options to consider:

Accept the offer.
Counter the offer with a different price.
Decline the offer, which will end the process.

View and sign your agreement

If you and the receiving member reach an agreement on the terms, you will receive instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. Please note that the receiving member will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club as part of the process.

Transfer of points

Once we confirm the receipt of funds, the points will be transferred accordingly.

Distribution of funds

On the day of check-in, we will proceed to release the funds to you as a member.
