2. MAKE AN OFFER: If you find an existing reservation that suits your criteria, the member will respond to your offer within 24 hours. Prepare for a quick and fruitful negotiation!

4. READ AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: Once all parties have agreed on the terms, we will send you explicit information on how to view and electronically sign your agreement. How it works for members

There are three ways to turn your unused points into cash.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you have a reservation that you are unable to utilize and there is still time to cancel without penalty, one alternative is to rent it out to another family. You can accomplish this by going to your profile page and selecting the option to create a new listing. Select “Existing Reservation” as the listing type and your offer will appear on our Listings page for future renters to make a bid on.

Wait for a potential renter to make an offer.

We will notify you through email once an offer has been made. You just have a few minutes to answer with one of three options:

Accept the offer
Counter the offer at a different price
Decline the offer; this will bring the procedure to a finish.

View and sign your contract

If you accept the terms, you will be shown how to view and electronically sign your contract. Please keep in mind that the renter’s money will be received through DVC Rental Club.

Distribution of funds

We will release the monies to the member on check-in day.

Special request

Our most typical alternative is to fulfill a consumer request. On our Listings page, you can see a request from a family looking to make travel plans. If your reservation is more than seven months away, please ensure you have the right Home Resort ownership. Once you’ve found a suitable request, you can accept it and proceed to prepare the vacation for the concerned family.

React to the tenant

Respond to the renter before the allotted hour (1 hour) has passed. As well as the amount per point you are willing to accept, let them know if you were able to accommodate their request or what you can book.

You have two options: either inform the renter that you were unable to arrange a reservation or present an acceptable one, or let the claim’s time limit expire.

Review and sign your contract

If you accept the conditions, you will be given instructions on how to view and electronically sign your contract. It should be noted that the renter will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Distribution of funds

We will release the monies to the member on the day of check-in.

Convergense points

Transferring part or all of your current use-year points to another member is an easy option. You can do this by going to your profile page and selecting “Create a listing.” After that, choose the point transfer option and enter the number of points you want to send somewhere. Once the details are added to your listing, potential members can submit their offers.

Answer your request

As soon as an offer is made, we’ll send you an email. Your choices are:

Accept the offer, first.
Offer a different price in response to the offer.
Rejecting the Offer: This will put an end to the exchange.

Review and sign your contract

You will be given instructions on how to examine and electronically sign your agreement if you and the terms can agree. It’s crucial to remember that the receiving member will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Exchange of points

The points will be transferred appropriately once receipt of payment has been confirmed.

Distribution of funds

We shall proceed to release the monies to the member on the day of check-in.
