How member operations work
Convert Your Unused Points
Three alternatives are available to members who wish to convert unused points into cash. The first choice is to list your reservation on your profile page as an “Existing Reservation”. Offers can be made on the rental listed on our Listings page by prospective tenants.
Considering Renter Offers
When you receive an offer, you have a limited amount of time to accept, reject, or counter with a different price.
View and Sign your Agreement
You will be given instructions on how to view and electronically sign the agreement once you have accepted the terms. DVC Rental Club will manage the renter’s payment. The funds will be released to you on the day of check-in after the agreement is signed.
Fulfilling customer requests
To fulfill a customer request, browse the appropriate requests on the Listings page. If you can fulfill the request, respond to the renter within the given time frame with the details and price per point you are willing to accept.
Responding to renters
Within the allotted time, respond to the renter with information about whether or not you are able to fulfill their request and the price per point. You will be given instructions to view the agreement and electronically sign it if the renter accepts the terms. The renter’s payment will be handled by DVC Rental Club. Once the agreement is signed, the funds will be released to you on the check-in day.
Points transfer
To conveniently transfer your current use-year points to another member, go to your profile page and click on “Create a listing.” Select the option to transfer points and specify the number of points you’re willing to transfer. Interested members can then submit their offers on your listing.
Responding to renters
When you receive an offer, you have the choice to accept, counter with a different price, or decline the offer. We will notify you via email, and you can proceed accordingly.
Viewing and singing your agreement
If you reach an agreement on the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and electronically sign the agreement. It’s important to note that the receiving member will submit their payment to DVC Rental Club. Once confirmation of funds received is obtained, the points will be transferred accordingly.
Disbursement of funds
On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to the member, ensuring a smooth disbursement process.
