What is the Process is used for Renters

1: SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO MAKE

Select one of our available options, such as Existing Reservations which allows you to purchase a reservation from members and take advantage of price reductions.

2: SUBMIT YOUR OFFER

If you locate an existing booking that is suitable for your requirements, send your proposal and the owner will contact you within 24 hours. Be prepared for a fast and efficient negotiation process!

3: AWAKE For THE MEMBER TO RESPOND

We’ll update you every step of the way as the member replies by making sure you’re aware and are able to make informed choices.

4: VIEW AND AGREE TO YOUR AGREEMENT

After both parties have gotten their hands on the terms, you’ll receive clear instructions to view and e-sign your agreement. It’s a simple, secure process that takes the first step towards that dream vacation.

5: MAKE YOUR PAYMENT

After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll then be taken on the page for payment. Select the payment method you prefer and make your payment ease. You can book your dream holiday now officially reserved!

6: DISBUREMENT OF FUNDS

On check-in day, we manage releasing the funds to the member. It’s a seamless transition that guarantees both parties are safe throughout the rental process.

How does it Work for Members

We’ve got three options to transform your unused points into cash.

SUBMIT AND VIEW YOUR AGREEMENT

Rent your existing Reservation to another family.

If you have time to cancel your reservation with no penalty, this may be a great option. In your account page, select Create a new listing, select Existing Reservation. Your listing will be added to our Listings page to allow potential tenants to submit an offer.

Wait For A Renter To Make You An Offer

We will email when you receive an offer. You will have a short amount of time to reply with three choices:

Accept the offer.
You can counter the offer by offering a different price.
Declining The Offer conclude the procedure.

View and Sign your Agreement

If you decide to accept the terms, you’ll be provided with instructions to review and e-sign the agreement. The renter must pay the DVC. Rental Club.

Distribution of Funds

On check-in day we will release the funds to the member.

CUSTOM REQUEST

The most requested option is to make a Custom Request. Visit our Listings page and claim a request made by an entire family and then plan their vacation. Check if the reservation is more than 7 years away and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the Renter

Make contact with the renter before the allotted time is up (1 hour). Communicate if you were capable of fulfilling the renter’s request, or include the amount you are able to book as well as the dollar amount per point you’re willing to take.

If you weren’t able to book a reservation or to make the required reservations then you can either communicate that to the renter or let the timer expire the claim.

Read and Sign your Contract

Should you agree on the terms, you will be provided with the instructions to read and e-sign the agreement. The renter must make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Distribution of Funds

On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to the member.

TRANSFER POINTS

An easy solution is to transfer a portion or all of your current usage year points to another member.

On your profile page, select make a listing and then transfer points. Populate with the number of points you are willing to transfer. Interested members will submit offers.

Respond to Your Offer

We will contact you once we are offered a price. The options are:

Take the deal.
Counter the offer with an alternative price.
Rejecting the Offer stop this process.

Read and sign your contract

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll be given instructions on how to read and electronically sign your agreement. The member who is receiving the payment will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of Points

After confirmation of the funds received the points will be transferred.

The disbursement of funds

On the day check-in will be completed, we transfer the funds to the member.

Funds Held Until Check-In Day: As part of their reservation policy, funds will be held until the check-in day to cover any incidental charges or fees that may arise during the guest’s stay. The amount of funds held may vary based on the length of stay and room type.
