How it works for members

We’ve got three methods to convert your unused points into money

Submit and view your agreement

Rent your Existing Reservation to another family. If you’re in a position to end your reservation without penalty; this could be a great option. In your account page, click make a new listing. Then select Existing Reservation. Your listing will be added to our Listings page for prospective tenants to make an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will contact you when you receive an offer. You have a certain amount of time to respond with one of three choices:

Accept the offer.
Make a counter offer with a different price.
Declining The Offer conclude the procedure.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms of your agreement, you will be provided with instructions to read and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the renter must pay the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day when check-in is completed, we transfer the funds to the member.

Custom request

Our most popular choice is to claim a Custom request. Visit our Listings page to make a claim on a request submitted by a family and make a reservation for their trip. Check if the reservation is more than 7 months from the date that you have the correct Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Answer the renter’s request before the allotted time expires (1 hour). Inform them if you were successful in fulfilling their request, or give them the number of points you’re able to reserve and the price per point you are willing to pay.
If you are unable to book a reservation or provide a suitable reservations or a suitable reservation, you may communicate this to the renter, or let the timer expire to end the claim.

Review and sign your agreement

Should you agree on the terms, you will receive a set of instructions to read and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the renter must send their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day when check-in is completed, we transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

A simple option is to transfer a small portion or all of your current usage year points to another member.

In your account page the option to create a listing. Select transfer points. Populate with the number of points you would like to transfer out. Interested members will submit offers.

Respond to Your Offer

We will send you an email once you have been offered a deal. Your options:

I accept this offer.
Opt-out of the deal with a different price.
Accepting or Rejecting Offers: This is going to close the procedure.

Review and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and e-sign the agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement will submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

When funds are confirmed and confirmed, points are transferred.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll give the funds to the member.
