What is the process function used for renters

2. SUBMIT A QUOTE: If you find an existing reservation that meets your requirements, send your request to the member, and they will reply within 24 hours. Prepare for a speedy and effective negotiation!

3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you updated every step of the way as the member replies by making sure you’re aware and can make educated choices.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: After both parties have reached an agreement on the terms, you’ll receive clear instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. It’s a straightforward and secure process that gets the first step towards your wonderful holiday.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll be directed onto the pay page. Select the payment method you prefer and then submit your payment with ease. Your dream vacation is now fully booked!

6. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: On check-in day On check-in day, we manage paying the renter. This is a smooth transition that guarantees both parties are safe throughout the rental process.

How it works for members

We’ve got three options to turn points that you haven’t used into money:

Submit and view your agreement

Lease your existing Reservation to a different family. If you’re able to end your reservation without penalty This could be a good option. On your profile page, select the option to create a new listing and then select an existing reservation. Your listing will populate our Listings page, allowing potential renters who will make an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will email when you have received an offer. You have a certain amount of time to reply with one of three options:

Accept the offer.
Opt-out of the deal with a different price.
Declining The Offer close that process.

Review and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll receive instructions to review and electronically sign your agreement. It is important to note that the renter must submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will transfer the funds to the member.

Custom request

Our most popular choice is to make a Custom Request. Visit our Listings page and submit a request from a family and plan their vacation. Make sure if the reservation is more than 7 months from the date and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Contact the renter prior to the time limit expires (1 one hour). Let them know if you were able to fulfill their request, or inform them of the number of points you’re able to reserve and the dollar amount per point you’re willing to accept.
If you could not make a reservation or offer an adequate reservation, you can communicate that to the renter, or let the timer run out on the claim.

View and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll be provided with instructions to review and electronically sign your agreement. Be aware that the renter must pay the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

One option is to transfer some (or all) of your use-year points to a different member.

Your profile’s page, choose to create a listing, then select transfer points. Populate with the number of points you would like to transfer out. The members who are interested can submit proposals.

Respond to Your Offer

We will notify you when we have been offered a deal. You have a choice:

Accept the offer.
Counter the offer with an alternative price.
Declining The Offer: This will conclude this process.

Chech out and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will receive a set of instructions to read and e-sign your agreement. The member who is receiving the payment is required to pay the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

Once funds are received the points will be transferred.

Dibursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will give the money to the member.
