How it helps members

There are three alternative methods to turn your unused points into cash.

View and sign your agreement

Renting out your reservation to another family is a possibility if you have a reservation that you can’t use and there is still time to cancel without incurring fees. You may accomplish this by going to your profile page and choosing the option to create a new listing. Selecting “Existing Reservation” as the listing type will make your offer visible on our Listings page for interested tenants to submit offers.

Wait for a renter to approach you with an offer

When an offer is made, we’ll send you an email. You have a constrained amount of time to answer with one of the following three possibilities:

Accept the offer
counter it with a different price
Declining The Proposal This will bring the procedure to a close

View and sign your contract

You will be provided information on how to examine and electronically sign your contract if you agree to the terms. Please note that DVC Rental Club will receive the renter’s money.

Payment of money

We will release the money to the member on the day of check-in.

Fulfilling a client request is the most frequent option we offer. On our Listings page, you may see a request from a family looking to organize trips. If the reservation is more than seven months in the future, please make sure you have the appropriate Home Resort ownership. Once you’ve found the right request, you may accept it and continue to prepare the vacation for the worried family.

Reply to the renter

Respond to the renter before the allotted time of one hour has elapsed. Tell them if you were able to accommodate their request or what you can book, along with the amount per point you are willing to take.You have two options: either inform the renter that you were unable to arrange a reservation or present an acceptable one, or let the claim’s time limit expire.

Review and sign your contract

If you accept the conditions, you will be given information on how to see and electronically sign your contract. It should be noted that the renter will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Distribution of funds

We will disburse the monies to the member on the day of check-in.

Transfer points

The option of transferring part or all of your current use-year points to another member is a practical one. To accomplish this, go to your profile page and select “Create a listing.” Once you have chosen to transfer points, be sure to mention how many points you wish to send somewhere. Interested members can submit their offers after the specifics are included in your listing.

Give your offer a response

When an offer is made, we’ll email you about it.

Your choices are:

Take up the invitation.
Present alternative pricing in response to the offer.
Turning down the Offer: This will put an end to the procedure.

Review and sign your contract
