What is the process function for renters

1. SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO MAKE: Choose from our available options, which include Existing Reservations which allows you to buy a reservation directly from an existing member and benefit from potential price reductions.

2. SUBMIT YOUR OFFER: If you locate an existing booking that is suitable for your needs, make an offer, and the member will respond within 24hrs. Prepare yourself for a quick and effective negotiation!

3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you informed every step of the way as the member responds by making sure you’re aware and can make educated choices.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: Once both parties have agreed on the terms, you’ll get explicit instructions on how to review and e-sign your agreement. It’s a straightforward and secure process that takes an extra step to enjoying your unforgettable holiday.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After e-signing your agreement, you’ll be directed on the page for payment. Choose your preferred payment method and pay with ease. Your dream vacation is now officially reserved!

6. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: On check-in day on the day of check-in, we handle giving the money to the member. It’s a smooth process that guarantees both parties are safe during the rental process.

How it works for members

We’ve got three options to convert your points into money:

View and sign your agreement

Rent your current Reservation to another family. If you are able to cancel with no penalties This could be an alternative. In your account page, choose to create a new listing, choose Existing Reservation. Your listing will appear on our Listings page, allowing potential renters to submit an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will notify you by email when we received an offer. You have a limited amount of time to reply with one of three options:

Accept the offer.
Opt-out of the deal with a different price.
Declining The Offer close this process.

View out and sign your agreement

If you decide to accept the terms, you will be provided with instructions to read and e-sign your agreement. It is important to note that the renter must make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Payment of funds

On check-in day we will pay the member the money.

Custom request

The most requested option is to make a Custom Request. Visit our Listings page to submit a request from families and make a reservation for their trip. Check if the reservation is more than 7 years away and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Contact the renter prior to the allotted time expires (1 hour). Contact them if you are able to complete the renter’s request, or give them what you’re able book, and the amount of dollars per point you’re willing to accept.
If you are unable to book a reservation or provide the required reservations, you can communicate that to the renter, or let the timer run out on the claim.

Check out sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll be provided with instructions to review and electronically sign your agreement. It is important to note that the renter must make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day when check-in is completed, we transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

A quick and easy solution is to transfer a small portion (or all) of your current use-year points to a different member.

In your account page, choose make a listing and then transfer points. Select the number of points you would like to transfer out. The members who are interested can submit offers.

Respond to Your Offer

We will send you an email once you have received an offer. The options are:

Take the deal.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Accepting or Rejecting Offers: This is going to close this process.

Read and sign your agreement

Should you agree on the terms, then you’ll receive instructions to review and electronically sign the agreement. It is important to note that the person who receives the money will submit their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

When funds are confirmed after which points will be transferred.

Dibursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll give the money to the member.

Funds Held Until Check-In Day: Hold funds until the check-in day as part of their reservation policy. It serves as a refund for any additional costs or fees paid by the visitor while they are staying. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of room, a different amount of money may be held.

Resort Details: Offers deluxe studios and spacious villas designed to accommodate families. Provide guests with access to multiple amenities and activities. Enjoy stunning ocean views, various pools and water slides. Provides a Disney magic and Hawaiian culture along with adventures.
