1. SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO MAKE: Select one of our available choices, including existing Reservations, where you can buy a room from an existing member and benefit from potential price reductions.

2. SUBMIT THE OFFER YOU ARE POSTING: If you spot an existing reservation that matches your needs, make a request, and the participant will respond within 24 hours. Get ready for a swift and effective negotiation!

3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you up to date each step of the way when the member replies to your questions, so you’re informed and can make educated choices.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: When both parties have reached agreement on the terms, you’ll get clear instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. It’s a straightforward and safe process that will bring you one step closer to your magical vacation.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll then be taken onto the pay page. Select the payment method you prefer and then submit your payment with ease. You can book your dream holiday fully booked!

6. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: On the day of check-in, we take care of release of the funds to the tenant. This is a smooth transition that assures that both parties are secure throughout the rental process.

How it works for members

There are three ways to transform your unused points into cash

Submit and view your agreement

Lease your existing Reservation to a different family. If you’re able to cancel your reservation with no penalty then this could be an option. When you are on your personal page click Create a new listing, select an existing reservation. Your listing will appear on our Listings page to allow potential renters to make an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will notify you by email when we received an offer. You will be given a certain amount of time to answer with one of three choices:

I accept this offer.
Opt-out of the deal with an alternative price.
Declining The Offer conclude the procedure.

View and sign your agreement

If you decide to accept the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and e-sign the agreement. Be aware that the renter must submit their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will pay the member the money.

Custom request

Our most popular choice is to claim a Custom Request. Go to our Listings page and claim a request made by families and plan their vacation. Be sure that if the booking is more than 7 years away and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Make contact with the renter before the allotted time expires (1 1 hour). Contact them if you are successful in fulfilling the request, or provide the number of points you’re able book, as well as the amount per point you are willing to pay.

If you could not book a reservation or provide suitable reservations and you are unable to do so, you can inform that to the renter, or let the timer run out on the claim.

Review and sign your contract

Should you agree on the terms of your agreement, you will receive instructions to review and electronically sign the agreement. Note, the renter will send their payment to DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll transfer the funds to the member.

Transfer points

An easy option is to transfer some or all of your current use-year points to another member.

Your profile’s page, click make a listing and then transfer points. Fill in the amount of points you are willing to transfer. Members who are interested will submit suggestions.

Respond to Your Offer

We will email when you have received an offer. Your options:

Accept the offer.
Opt-out of the deal with an alternative price.
Declining The Offer: This will end this process.

View and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you will be provided with instructions to review and e-sign the agreement. Note, the receiving member is required to pay DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

Once funds are received, points will be transferred.

Payment of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll give the funds to the member.
