How does the rental process work?

1. SELECT THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU IDEALIZE: We offer various reservation options to cater to your needs. Choose from our available options, such as Existing Reservations, which allow you to purchase a reservation from a member and potentially enjoy price reductions. 2. SUBMIT A OFFER: If you find an existing reservation that meets your requirements, submit your offer. The member will respond within 24 hours, initiating a rapid and successful negotiation process.

3. WAIT FOR THE MEMBER TO RESPOND: Stay informed at every stage of the process. We will keep you updated when the member responds to your offer, ensuring you can make wise decisions.

4. VIEW AND SIGN YOUR CONTRACT: Once both parties have reached an agreement on the terms, we will provide clear instructions for you to view and electronically sign the agreement. Our process is designed to be simple and secure, prioritizing your convenience and safety.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After electronically signing the agreement, you will be directed to the payment page. Choose your preferred payment method and submit your payment effortlessly. The way it work for members

You have three options for turning your unused points into cash.

View and sign your agreement

One choice you may think about is renting out your reservation to another family if you have one that you can’t use and there’s still time to cancel without incurring fees. Go to your profile page and choose the option to create a new listing from there to do this. Select “Existing Reservation” as the listing type, and your offer will be made visible for tenants to view on our Listings page.Hold off accepting an offer until a renter does. Considering renter offer

When you receive an offer, we’ll send you an email. You have a brief window of opportunity to answer with one of three possibilities:

Accept the offer
Rebuff it with a different price.
Declining Its Offer Consequently, the procedure will come to an end.

See the contract and sign it

The steps for seeing and electronically signing your contract will be sent to you if you agree to the terms. Note that the renter’s money will go to DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of funds

We will provide the member access to the money on the day of check-in.

Personal command

The most common option we provide is to fulfill a customer request. On our Listings page, you can see an inquiry from a family looking to organize travel. If the reservation is more than seven months away, kindly confirm that you are the correct Home Resort owner. You can accept a suitable request after you’ve found one and then continue to prepare the vacation for the worried family.

Addressing the tenant

React to the renter before the allotted time of one hour has gone.Let them know if you were able to accommodate their request or what you can book, as well as the price per point you are willing to take.The timeframe on the claim might expire, or you can inform the renter that you were unable to arrange a reservation or give an appropriate one.

See the contract and sign it

You will be given information on how to examine and electronically sign your agreement should you accept its conditions. The DVC Rental Club will receive the renter’s money, please note.

Transfer of funds

We will provide the member access to the money on the day of check-in.

Transfer centers

You can transfer part or all of your existing use-year points to another member, which is a practical option. To get started, go to your profile page and select “Create a listing.” Select the option to transfer points after that, then enter the number of points you want to send somewhere. Interested members can submit their bids once your listing has been filled up with the necessary information.

Consider your offer

When you receive an offer, we’ll send you an email. Options available to you are

Take up the offer.
Offer a different price as a counteroffer.
Rejecting the Offer: This will bring the process to a conclusion.

See the contract and sign it

If the conditions are acceptable to you, you will be given information on how to see and electronically sign your contract. It is essential to remember that the receiving member will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

The points will be transferred appropriately after receipt of confirmation of money.

We’ll proceed to distribute the member’s monies on the day of check-in.

Money Reserved Until Check-In Date: As part of their reservation policy, money will be kept in a separate account until the day of check-in to pay any costs or incidentals the visitor may incur while staying there. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of lodging, different amounts of money may be retained.
