Member Operations: How It Works
Convert unused point
As a member, you have three options to convert your unused points into cash. One option is to list your reservation as an “Existing Reservation” on your profile page. Potential renters can make offers on the listing displayed on our Listings page.
Response to renters offer
When you receive an offer, you have the choice to accept, counter with a different price, or decline the offer within the specified time frame.
View and sign your agreement
If you accept the conditions, you will receive instructions on how to view and electronically sign the agreement. The renter’s payment will be handled by DVC Rental Club.
Disbursement of Funds
On the check-in day, we will release the funds to you.
Customers request
Alternatively, you can fulfil a customer request by locating appropriate requests on the Listings page. If you can fulfil the request, respond to the renter within the given time frame with the details and price per point you are willing to accept.
Respond to the renter
Reply to the renter within the specified time frame, informing them if you can fulfil their request and providing the price per point.
View and sign your agreement
If the renter agrees to the terms, you will receive instructions to view and electronically sign the agreement. The renter’s payment will be handled by DVC Rental Club.
Disbursement of funds
On the check-in day, we will release the funds to you.
Choose the option that suits you best and benefit from converting your unused points into cash through our streamlined process.
Transfer points
To conveniently transfer your current use-year points to another member, visit your profile page and click on “Create a listing.” Select the option to transfer points and specify the number of points you’re willing to transfer. Interested members can then submit their offers on your listing.
Respond to Your Offer
When you receive an offer, you have the choice to accept, counter with a different price, or decline the offer. We will notify you via email, and you can proceed accordingly.
View and sign your agreement
If you reach an agreement on the terms, you’ll receive instructions to view and electronically sign the agreement. It’s important to note that the receiving member will submit their payment to DVC Rental Club.
Transfer of points
Once confirmation of funds received is obtained, the points will be transferred accordingly.
The disbursement of funds
On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to the member, ensuring a smooth disbursement process.
