How the process functions for renters

1. CHOOSE THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU WANT TO CREATE: Choose from the available options, such as Existing Reservations that allow you to purchase a reservation through members and receive price reductions.

2. SUBMIT A QUOTE: If you find an existing booking that is suitable for your needs, submit your proposal, and the member will reply within 24 hours. Prepare yourself for a quick and effective negotiation process!

3. WAIT FOR THE PARTICIPANT TO RESPOND: We’ll keep you up to date all the time when the member responds to your questions, so you’re informed and can make educated choices.

4. REVIEW AND SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT: After both parties have reached an agreement on the terms of the agreement, you’ll receive clear instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. It’s a straightforward and secure process that takes the first step towards your dream vacation.

5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT: After you’ve signed your agreement electronically, you’ll be directed on the page for payment. Choose your preferred payment method and then submit your payment with ease. The dream trip you’ve always wanted is now officially reserved!

6. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: On check-in day, we take care of releasing the funds to the guest. This is a smooth transition that guarantees both parties are safe throughout the rental process.

How it work for members

There are three ways you can turn your unused points into money:

View and sign your contract

Rent your Existing Reservation to a different family. If you have time to cancel your reservation with no penalty, this could be an alternative. In your account page click “Create a new listing”, select an existing reservation. Your listing will be added to our Listings page for potential renters who will make an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will contact you when you have received an offer. You will be given a certain amount of time to answer with one of three choices:

Take the deal.
Make a counter offer with an alternative price.
Declining The Offer close the process.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you decide to accept the terms, you will receive instructions to review and e-sign the agreement. It is important to note that the renter will pay the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of Funds

On the day of check-in, we will pay the member the money.

Custom request

Our most favored option is to make a Custom Request. Check out our Listings page and claim a request by families and make a reservation for their trip. If the reservation is more than 7 years away and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Make contact with the renter before the allotted time runs out (1 1 hour). Communicate if you were successful in fulfilling their request, or with what you’re able to reserve and the amount of dollars per point you’re willing to take.

If you were unable to reserve a room or make the required reservations and you are unable to do so, you can inform that to the renter or let the timer run out on the claim.

View and sign your agreement

Should you agree on the terms, you will receive instructions to review and sign electronically your agreement. Note, the renter will make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will give the funds to the member.

Transfer points

A simple option is to transfer a portion or even all your use-year points to another member.

Your profile’s page, choose the option to create a listing. Select transfer points. Select the number of points you’re willing to transfer. The members who are interested can submit offers.

Respond to Your Offer

We will notify you when we have been offered a deal. You have a choice:

Accept the offer.
Counter the offer with an alternative price.
Declining The Offer end this procedure.

Read and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms, you will receive instructions to view and electronically sign your agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement will make their payment to the DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

Once funds are received and confirmed, points will be transferred.

Payment of funds

On the day of check-in, we will release the funds to the member.

Real-time Notifications: We will hold your important information including resort announcements, dining reservations, and spa appointments for you and will inform you through real-time notifications.

Funds Held Until Check-In Day: Hold funds until the check-in day as part of their reservation policy. It serves as a refund for any additional costs or fees paid by the visitor while they are staying. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of room, a different amount of money may be held.

Resort Details: Offers deluxe studios and spacious villas designed to accommodate families. Provide guests with access to multiple amenities and activities. Enjoy stunning ocean views, various pools and water slides. Provides a Disney magic and Hawaiian culture along with adventures.
