What it does for members

There are three ways to convert your points into cash

Review and sign your agreement

Rent your current Reservation to a different family. If you’re able to end your reservation without penalty, this could be an alternative. In your account page choose to Create a new listing, select an existing reservation. Your listing will appear on our Listings page, allowing prospective renters to submit an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will notify you by email if you’ve been offered a deal. You will have a short amount of time to reply to the offer using one of three options:

You must accept the invitation.
Opt-out of the deal with an alternative price.
Declining The Offer close this process.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. The renter must pay DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will pay the member the money.

Custom request

Our most requested choice is to claim a Custom-Request. Check out our Listings page to submit a request from the family member and reserve their trip. Be sure that if the booking is more than 7 months from the date and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Contact the renter prior to the time limit runs out (1 one hour). Let them know whether you were able to fulfill the renter’s request, or give them what you’re able to reserve as well as the dollar amount per point you’re willing to pay.
If you weren’t able to reserve a room or make the reservation then you can either communicate that to the renter, or allow the timer to expire on the claim.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms, you’ll be provided with instructions on how to review and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the renter must make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll pay the member the money.

Transfer points

A simple alternative is to transfer a portion (or all) of your points of use to a different member.

Your profile’s page is where you choose the option to create a listing. Select transfer points. Select the number of points you would like to transfer. The members who are interested can make requests.

Respond to your offer

We will contact you once we have been offered a deal. The options are:

You must accept the invitation.
Opt-out of the deal with an alternative price.
Rejecting the Offer close this process.

Review and sign your contract

If you accept the terms of your agreement, you will receive instructions to review and sign electronically your agreement. The member who is receiving the payment will make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

After confirmation of the funds received the points are transferred.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will transfer the funds to the member.

Money Reserved Until Check-In Date: As part of their reservation policy, money will be kept in a separate account until the day of check-in to pay any costs or incidentals the visitor may incur while staying there. Depending on the length of the stay and the kind of lodging, different amounts of money may be retained.
