How it work for DVC members

We’ve got three methods to convert the points you have not used into dollars!

Review and sign your agreement

Rent your current Reservation to a different family. If you are able to cancel without penalty, this is a great alternative. Your profile’s page will allow you to click the option to create a new listing and then select an existing reservation. Your listing will appear on our Listings page to allow prospective renters to submit an offer.

Wait for a renter to make you an offer

We will notify you by email if you’ve received an offer. You will have a short amount of time to reply by choosing one of three choices:

Take the deal.
You can counter the offer by offering another price.
Rejecting the Offer will conclude that process.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you accept the terms, you’ll be provided with instructions on how to review and electronically sign your agreement. Remember that the renter has to make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

Disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will transfer the funds to the member.

Custom request

The most requested a choice is to make an individual request. Check out our Listings page to submit a request from the family member and reserve their vacation. Check if the reservation is more than 7 months from the date and you are the owner of the Home Resort.

Respond to the renter

Contact the renter prior to the time limit expires (1 1 hour). Make sure you inform them that you were able fulfill the request, or provide what you’re able to reserve as well as the amount per point you’re willing to pay.

If you are unable to reserve a room or make a reservation that is suitable then you can either communicate that to the renter, or allow the timer to expire on the claim.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms, you’ll be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the renter will make their payment to DVC Rental Club.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in, we will pay the member the money.

Transfer points

One alternative is to transfer a portion or even all your points of use to another member.

In your account page click the option to create a listing and select transfer points. Fill in the amount of points you’d like to transfer. Members who are interested will make proposals.

Respond to your offer

We’ll notify you when you’ve received an offer. You’ll then have three options to choose from:

You must accept the invitation.
You can counter the offer by offering an alternative price.
Declining The Offer close this process.

Check out and sign your agreement

If you are in agreement with the terms of your agreement, you will be given instructions on how to read and sign electronically your agreement. Be aware that the member who signed the agreement is required to pay DVC Rental Club.

Transfer of points

Once funds are received and confirmed, points are transferred.

The disbursement of funds

On the day of check-in we’ll pay the member the money.
